Before you even plant a seed, you have to desire to cultivate it and to have what will grow from it, which is more critical in this process: wanting what the seed can bring, producing the basis, or being patient and staying the course, tending to the source, watering it, and caring for its ability to grow. The world doesn’t lack wannabe gardeners. Just planting seeds is not enough to get the results.
Staying the course is essential to reaching the goals we plant. Patience is also needed to get to the desired destination. Personal improvement is like tending our garden.
Personal improvement requires an effective mission statement that is explicit and concise about your business strategy. When you put together a mission statement for your life, the information will reflect your life goals.
Reaching the goals and accomplishing the things in the mission statement may or may not happen, but the goal should be to get closer each day. Be better today than you were yesterday. Improve your overall self by at least 1% each day.
