Why Stephen King is referred to as a “Polymorphous Writer”.
King’s books are marketed as literary fiction, and for the past four decades, no single writer has dominated the landscape of genre writing like him. Even with his success, the respect of the literary establishment has always eluded King, and mainly from the beginning, King was dismissed as a 'genre writer.’ But really, is he polymorphous?
A review said about King: “However, King wasn’t just a horror writer that one could easily dismiss if they are not interested in the genre. Besides the fact that Stephen King managed to add depth to his novels and other tones of psychological terror, he is polymorphous.” ce, historical fiction, fantasy novels, science fiction, and more.”
”A look at the titles and genres of King's books confirms that his writing is indeed that of a polymorphous author because it has taken various forms, characters, and style”
Stephen King Books in my Home Library
This home library is in a dedicated room with books from floor to ceiling on three sides. It represents about 1500 of our total of about 2000 books. This video focuses on the Stephen King books. I present one book I was still reading at the time of this video and comment on King's "On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft."
The video includes some comments about the variety of genres in the collection of my website and the use of social media to promote my website. I can't believe I said in this video that I was surprised that people seemed only to want to go on Reddit because they wanted to talk to each other.
Of course, that is what I was doing in the video, Talking to you, Hope you will give it a listen

A Favorite Quote by Stephen King
Writers remember everything...especially the hurts.
Stephen King's dedication to his craft is truly inspiring. As he once said, 'strip a writer to the buff, point to the scars, and he'll tell you the story of each small one. From the big ones, you get novels.'.
A little talent is nice if you want to be a writer, but remembering every scar’s story is the only real requirement.
Stephen King's work is a testament to the power of memory in art. As he once said, 'art consists of the persistence of memory.'”
